On Guilt and Sin by Katz ** Often I think religions use guilt to keep the flock in line. They encourage guilt and then say, "Come to us and we will free you from your guilt." George Carlin does a great monologue on sin, that you can commit seven or eight sins just from one sinful act (thinking about sinning, planning the sin, doing the sin, enjoying the rewards of the sin, covering up the sin, etc.). While having no guilt at all is not the way to be, I think we often let guilt rule our lives and the lives of those around us. * Origin: Antelope Freeway - 504-387-4015 - PRAISE ELVIS !
