Don't you just hate those Bleeding-heart Atheists who are not only liberal as all hell, but advocates of collectivism, gun banning, and discrimination AGAINST religion? The people in Waco were the victims of deceptions and a coverup to protect a screwed-up operation. They only had a few guns, and all were bought legally. Most of the ATF agents who were killed in the shootout were shot BY FRIENDLY FIRE (a fact that has seldom been mentioned by the media). ATF officials continually IGNORED EXPERT PSYCHOLOGISTS, who told them that Koresh could not be rationalized with; Koresh was insane, and was not coherent or logical. The Branch Davidians were also accused of child abuse. This allegation was a red-herring argument thrown in to push Janet Reno's hot-button and make her approve the attack. It was never true, and it's only purpose was to speed along the operation because the ATF was sick of waiting. None of the allegations -- NONE -- have been substantiated, yet the ATF, just like the times before when they killed innocent people who were suspected of growing pot (a colorado case was plastered all over the news), continued to make up lies in order to get officials to approve their actions. I am an Atheist who also is against gun-banning. Banning guns is a collectivist ideal that will never work. If society wasn't so inflamed over guns, Waco would never have happened. Intolerance of guns, and religion caused Waco. Psycho Dave, Atheist with an Attitude Psycho@ace.com
