REGRETS Dedicated to Sean Richey By Lucillus (Sung to the tune of "Four Strong Winds") CHORUS Four strong winds that blow lonely, Seven seas that run high, All these things that don't change, come what may, But our good times are all gone And I'm bound for movin' on I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way. When I first came into Rome, thought I'd found myself a home, Got some friends, thought I'd find some peace of mind. And for such a long, long time, I thought we did just fine I was happy there, among those friends of mine. Well at first it all went well, then it went right straight to hell, God knows I tried so hard to make it all work out. Caesar knew only one way To try and save the day To win the game was all he cared about. But the time has come and gone when we still could get along, There's too many words been said to place the blame, And regrets I have a few But if I had again to do What I did, I think that I would act the same. But there's still so much to say, and I guess that there's no way, And it really doesn't matter anymore, Still I wish you'd change your mind If I asked you one more time But we've been through this a hundred times before. Even now that it's all done, I sure don't feel like I've won, I feel so sorry for us both and that's no lie. And I miss the camraderie The way it used to be And I wonder if old feelings truly die.
