The Wren Boys place an effigy of a wren in th middle of a holly bush, which they then decorate. Dressed in bizzare costumes, they go from door to door, asking for money, and singing one of the many versions of this song. THE WREN SONG (music) THE WREN, THE WREN, THE KING OF ALL BIRDS, ST. STEPHEN'S DAY WAS CAUGHT INTHE FURZE; ALTHOUGH HE WAS LITTLE, HIS HONOR WAS GREAT. JUMP UP, ME LADS AND GIVE HIM A TREAT.
