Subject: Chevrolet Nova From: vbcsc03l@vax.csun.edu (snopes) Date: Tue, 1 Jun 1993 23:15:00 GMT I received a response from General Motors in answer to my inquiry about the alleged poor sales of the Chevrolet Nova in Spanish-speaking countries: Customer Assistance Center Chevrolet Motor Division General Motors Corporation Troy, MI May 19, 1993 Dear Mr. Mikkelson Thank you for writing Chevrolet. The Chevrolet Nova was actually an imported vehicle from Toyota. Chevrolet did not market this vehicle in Mexico and other South American countries as the Chevrolet Nova. Toyota may have sold this vehicle in these countries under a different name. Again, thank you for writing Chevrolet. If you have any further questions, please contact the Customer Assistance Center at the toll-free number listed below.
