If there is a prosecution without a conviction, that negates the argument that CAN is a criminal organization. Remember, "innocent until proven guilty." How many times has CAN been proven guilty in CRIMINAL court, as opposed to CIVIL court, hmmm? And I'm talking about CONVICTIONS here, not just mere PROSECUTIONS!!!> There have been convictions of deprogrammers with clear connections to CAN, but let's look at what a deprogrammer says about this subject: "I have been arrested at least 5 times for kidnapping related charges. I have never even gone to trial in even one of these cases, due largely to the fact that it was my policy to get the family directly involved in e actual kidnapping. This would make it much harder for the target to want to pursue criminal prosecution, since it would mean they would also have to prosecute a family member." Mark Blocksom
