On interesting aspect of the Promise Keeper cult phenomena is the denial that the cult advocates homophobia and the oppression of women. There is a fundamental need to deny that every Promise Keeper cult gathering contains religious leaders spewing hatred and the followers who swallow it up.

Recognition that one has a problem is the first step toward correcting the problem. The second step is admitting that one should correct the problem. Promise Keeper cultists are successfully programmed to fail utterly to take either steps.

I'm 25.66666 yearas of age, and will have been married for 6 years this coming February. I don't attend PK events because I'd rather think than be spoonfed crap. I *do* realise I have conflicts with heterosexist-bigots like you.

I realise every day I struggle to live, not being given the equal rights heterosexuals have failed to set up for me, and that caring for others is pointless when nobody really cares about your life.

Why does my relationship, which is equal to yours, not deserve CIVIL recognition and the equal APPORTIONMENT of status to yours in a SECULAR society?

Why can I not live with my partner? Since we cannot gain the thousands of additional rights granted by the civil institution of marriage, we can't live together.

Consider your marriage of 15 years. Now consider it if you had not been able to see your spouse for 10, nor her family for 12 of those years.

Now imagine it as if you were exiled and BANNED from seeing her and her family?

Are you willing to reconsider your inhumane attitudes to the equal rights struggle of gay and lesbian people to be treated JUST LIKE YOU are?

If you aren't, then you're a bigot.
