China’s anti-COVID fight and economic recovery

The community recently marked three years since the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus a pandemic.

Global experts said that over a long period, from saving many lives to minimising the impact on people’s daily lives, China has made great strides in economic and social development in the fight against COVID-19. This allowed and helped the country to keep pace with the global economy.

China is also the leading country to offer COVID-19 vaccines, creating a strong momentum to close the global immunisation gap.
