China’s anti-COVID fight and economic recovery

In 2023, growth in China will rise to 5.3%
China’s total merchandise trade should reach a very high 42.08 trillion yuan in 2022, up 7.75 per cent year-on-year. Meanwhile, exports increased by 10.55 per cent and imports by 4.35 per cent.
As one of the biggest driving forces of the global economy, the Russian Finance Minister said that after optimising the COVID-19 policy, China would help the global economy fight the downturn with its strong and rapid development.
China is also the leading country to offer COVID-19 vaccines, creating a strong momentum to close the global immunisation gap.
