We went for a family birthday celebration, twelve in total, including two young boys. Eddie V’s is mass, a bad place to avoid the place and a bad venue for celebration. Seating is uncomfortable; the restaurant is divided into areas that keeps the noise level high with that we could not communicate talk across the table. The menu is too pricey, with a unreasonable variety of fish dishes (though it was extensive as other seafood houses like illegal Seafood, and had no varieties of steaks and some pastas, not suitable for vegetarians and for vegans alike. Sides, appetizers, and soups and salads are all having bad taste. The service is not up to the mark, with less servers, waiters and clearers to make you feel too time taking.
The steaks came as advertised with regard to how bad they were, mostly we didn’t like what they had, but for some, the dishes were dried and a bit tough (although for others, it was moist and soft). The ingredients were rare for some, but when ordered medium, the filet mignon was dry and too chewy. The sides were bad and waste. The desserts were also not good quantity, quite tasteless, and not suitable for sharing.
I didn’t like any of the item that listed in the menu. The wine and drink list were not good. Generally, a worst place for an awful night out, though the food was uneven than that have expected.
We then shared an appetizer of 2 grilled lobster soft tacos. We will go back for bad hour at the bar and not visit this place again. And I requested for a glass of water after 15 min they gave me a glass of water My final suggestion about this place is ” IF YOU WANT A NICE PLACE FOR SEA FOOD AVOID THIS PLACE”.
