Hours spent in Hyundai is supposed to be the pleasure part of one’s drive life but not the experience at Hyundai of Keene. When I took my Hyundai to the dealer for service of the XM Travel Link option, which was not working on my Navigation radio. The steering wheel also needed adjustment.
The service station is first of all under staffed. The mechanic who attended to me behaved in most unprofessional way and in a most casual way. The person that they have in that position has absolutely no people skills. He does not understand that when a customer comes to the counter one has to be polite in their ways in which they handle a customer and acknowledge the customer. I found the person at the counter does not care about the presence of the customer but keeps typing or is engaged on a phone conversation. They do not have staff for welcoming or to make the customers comfortable on entry and direct them to the proper place to attend their problems. Then without listening to the problems I wished to convey, the technician started mentioning about the cost involved, even though the dealer warranty was available for three months. On mentioning the same, I was told that the vehicle is purchased from a different dealer and that the service will be at cost. On agreeing to pay the cost they further escalated the cost while paying the bill.
In spite of all these I had to visit the service dealer for a few more times for the same problem. They do not have the experienced staff and the staff available are neither trained in human management nor to handle the machine. I do not understand why the problem could not be traced during first visit and why I had to make four visits to the service station for the single problem. I do not understand why the problem could not be traced during first visit and why I had to make four visits to the service station for the single problem. During one visit in the morning, I found the mechanic coming after test drive with the interior of my car very dirty with food stuff, grease, oil, etc. He or the management never bothered to hear me on my complaint.
In another instance my boyfriend had taken the car to the service station for the break sound correction. Most of the times they have not met the target time given to me, and I had to wait for an hour or more beyond the given time.
The only reason that I approached the dealer is that it is very close to my place and the vehicle is under warranty. I would never again wish to visit the service station. Reason being their unprofessional human management and most untrained technical staff who never understand the vehicle problem but work on trial and error method. If this is the kinda service provided in the Hyundai service stations it would scare away the people to purchase the vehicle itself
