Recently as I was experiencing blurred vision double vision headaches and eye strain I thought of getting my eye checked. I could see nearby objects clearly but far away objects appear blurred. So I thought of paying a visit to Dr Birtwhistle of progressive eye care centre to consult and select the treatment which will be best for my visual and lifestyle need. Firstly, I had difficult to find out the place. I called the office and the receptionist picked it up the third time. She spoke broken English and somehow guided me in locating the exact place. When I entered no one greeted me. So I sat in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to come. DR was 50 mins late, which is too much to consider. Though being late is typical of most doctors. The staff was incompetent and unfriendly. I found the office disorderly maintained. Dr Birtwhistle seemed to lack in knowledge and information. even could not answer the questions that I asked her, which left me dissatisfied. I expected a lot of tests to be done. However, my visit was short. Dr asked me a few questions quickly, gave me eye drops and then passed me over to the front office staff. I must say that dr Birtwhistle is only interested in making money rather than providing quality service to his patients. I found it difficult to have a thorough conversation with the doctor as she was getting phone calls every now and then.
They provided me with exceptionally poor customer service. Whoever is looking for a reliable optometrist progressive eye care is definitely not the one. She is the worst optometrist I have ever encountered. Dr is inefficient, lacked in knowledge and information. Also I found dr irresponsible. dr is not at all obedient to her duty and dedicated to the patient.
