I was completely thrown off by the way they treat you even though you are a paying patient. I was asked for a 50$ deposit for my next visit. I got to know that they do this with everyone. But that’s very unprofessional and kind of makes you have to go back instead of wanting to go back to Willow Point Dental. I asked the receptionist and the finance person as to why do I need to pay a deposit for my visit that is supposed to happen next week in advance. I did not get a convincing answer other than we ask everyone for the advance or deposit, whatever you want to call it. I gave the 50$ and then had to go back there as I had already paid the amount. The treatment is good there, but this practice of deposit is quite bad and unprofessional.
Also, if we have to pay deposit and thus ensure that we are coming back, then why don’t they pay when they cancel our appointments. I had an appointment scheduled for cleaning but it did not happen then as the X rays and discussion with the doctor regarding the same took a lot of time. Then, for cleaning, the appointment was scheduled in the next week. But they called up to cancel that appointment and schedule it to next week. So, all my plans had to be changed at last minute. I agree that sometimes, these things happen. But it repeated next week too. And I was disappointed with this unprofessional behaviour. Why would they take bookings that they cannot attend too? Or was I so unlucky that everytime, during my appointment, there would be an emergency? I have no clue, but surely, my next visit here is the last visit to this place.
